At Khajjiar, there is a beautiful lake surrounded by cedar forests – an idyllic place to marvel at the splendor of Nature. On a clear day, you can also see Mount Kailash from the lake. Summers In Tawang: You will fall in love with the place, the moment you set foot in here. Set in western Arunachal Pradesh, you can travel to Tawang from Tezpur. It is the nearest airport. Trains are also available. In Tawang, you will see the snow-clad peaks of the eastern Himalayas. The seat of Buddhist religion and culture, Tawang is the birthplace of the Dalai Lama. Monsoons in Coorg: After a monsoon wedding, head off to Coorg in Karnataka to revel in the lush greens of the hilly south. Take a flight to Bangalore and then book an airport taxi to reach Mysore, the nearest railway station to Coorg. From there, you can hire a car to your destination. Spend a day at the spa at Coorg enjoying an Ayurvedic massage with your partner. There are many Ayurvedic therapy centers here that offer such facilities. From there, you can travel by road to your hotel in Binsar. Visit Zero Point at Binsar with your spouse. The panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Shivling and Kedarnath at the break of dawn are glorious. The Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is also a must-visit.
